How It All Started
Way back in 2016, our journey began under the name Innovate Tours and Events, initially offering photography services for educational field trips. With a strong passion for videography and film, we saw an opportunity to elevate the usual tour experience.
We asked ourselves—why not make every tour cinematic? By treating each trip like a film production, we began directing moments, framing stories, and capturing experiences through professional photography and video. Every tour had a vision, a storyline, and a purpose—much like how a director brings a film to life.
During the early stages of Innovate Tours and Events, we also expanded into direct ticketing, supplying entrance tickets to Star City for hundreds of schools and fellow tour operators. This hands-on experience built our foundation in large-scale coordination, reliability, and direct supplier partnerships.
From these two core ideas, Direct Tours was born. “Direct” represents our director’s mindset—crafting and guiding each journey with intention—and our commitment to direct ticketing and direct access, ensuring seamless, efficient, and trusted travel services.
